Rulan Tangen / Dancing Earth
Rulan Tangen is the director/choreographer of the nation's foremost Native American
contemporary dance group of DANCING EARTH, as well as a model, actress, teacher
and published writer - and fan of Primitive Makeup. Rulan's personal battle with cancer
turned her into an advocate for clean living.

Makeup Artists going green
Primitive is proud to donate product to the makeup kits of renowned makeup artists
who have made a commitment to use natural beauty products. We are part of the kits
of Christy Coleman, LA/NY, and Dawn Amber Brocco, LA. We are happy to be working
with Jessa Blades, one of Glamour Magazine's top 70 female eco-achievers (Oct. 2008),
in her efforts to spread the word about using natural cosmetics.

Vintage Blue
Primitive Makeup was happy to support the work of a promising new clothing designer,
Liza Goncalves, and her company Vintage Blue. Vintage Blue produces high quality/
chemical-free garments, using eco-friendly fabrics and dyes. Her clothing has been seen
in the movie "A League of Their Own".

Local giving
Primitive Makeup is regularly asked to contribute items for gift baskets to be used as
donations for fundraising efforts. We give to charities in our local communities such as
the Fern Feldman Anolick Breast Center at Benedictine Hospital, and the Woodstock Day School.
